Despite what some of the other said. . .it was fairly easy to put together, it looks great, & is lightweight. . .fell in love with it online AND LOVE IT EVEN MORE now that it's up & functioning!

I LOVE THE BED! It is so wonderful and dramatic! I bought sheer curtains for the sides from TARGET, with a seam ripper, they fit the top beams, it is very pretty. Directions are confusing, just like the other customers expressed. With a few tries, and sometimes having to unscrew one piece, and flip it around and try it again, we got the bed together correctly and I could NOT be happier. [...]and easy to lift, comes in multiple light boxes, but you must be home for the YELLOW shipping company to drop it of, they require an appointment made the day before. Other than those little obstacles, GREAT experience. It does require a FULL afternoon to assemble!

best money i ever spent. this bed should have cost lots more. its gorgous. no cons. would buy it again for another room but already bought stuff for those extra rooms. love it.

If you follow the directions carefully, and organize all parts by size first, it will not be too difficult to assemble. It is surprisingly sturdy, and it person it is much more brown in color (still quite dark, but the pictures looks more black)[...] Small price to pay for a good bed though!

I was concerned about the quality at such a low price, but this bed stacks up against beds that cost far more. Not too difficult to put together, really nice finish and a great design. It looks better than the picture. The only down side is some squeaking, but nothing above my tolerance level. If you're looking for a sleek poster bed, you won't find a better deal.

This is almost the exact bed I was looking for, and after finding this, I thought it was too good to be true. Well, it wasn't! This bed is wonderful. The assembly was easy (a two person job though), the wood is sturdy and beautiful, and it does its job: making my bedroom look great and provide support for my mattress. I am so glad I got this product.

The only down side, and the reason it got 4 stars, is that the center support under the bed is a little bit flimsy. After sleeping on it for a month, I'm ok with it, but if I ever have to move the bed, I'm basically going to have to disassemble the center support so it doesn't snap off, then reassemble it.

The bed is lovely, it looks just like the picture! but the instructions were rather confusing. There was only one page, and much had to be determined from very small drawings. Also, the bed can be a little hard if you're used to a box spring mattress. However if you have a pillow-top mattress you should be just fine.

Beautiful bed, not too difficult to put together, very heavy...but I suppose in the long run that's a good thing- means quality. A little higher off the ground than I was hoping/expecting, but I still love it!
