Leggett & Platt's Consumer Products Unit was formed in 1995 by combining the activities of two existing Leggett Divisions with a recent acquisition. Together the three entities formed Leggett's Consumer Products Unit. They were the Fashion Bed Group, the Consumer Products Division, and Vantage Industries.
